Cadets Make a Difference in the Community

Woodstock, VA - At Massanutten Military Academy, our motto "Non Nobis Solum" - Not For Ourselves Alone - is more than just words; it's a guiding principle. Our faculty, staff and cadets embody this ideal year-round through acts of community service.

Every Massanutten cadet must complete 25 hours of service each school year, a commitment that reinforces our academy's dedication to nurturing engaged citizens. Cadets complete those hours both through opportunities on campus and within the local community.

Over the weekend, several cadets dived into their work during the WoodsTACO Street Taco Festival. Cadets jumped in as needed to help make this event, which is unique to the Shenandoah Valley, a success in its fourth year. This opportunity gave them hands-on experience as part of an event operations team while also building strong connections with the community they serve and that we call home.

Massanutten Military Academy is proud to nurture future leaders who understand that true success is measured by our positive impact on others.
