Applying to MMA

The Admission Process

Thank you for considering Massanutten Military Academy! We are still enrolling new students for the 2024-2025 school year. This page will help guide you through the admissions process. If you have questions along the way, contact us at 540-459-2167 Option 1, or admissions@militaryschool.com. We are here to help you each step of the way.

STEP 1: Complete the Application Online

Massanutten Military Academy uses an online application process through our portal. Provide an email and create your password to get access to the portal. The email address used to setup your account is your login. You will receive an email account confirmation to that address. If you don't see an email, then check your junk mail. Each parent must have their own sign-in. Log into portal, select your application type and complete all questions before you submitted the application.
*Please Note: There is a $50 non-refundable fee for applying to Massanutten Military Academy.

STEP 2: Submit School Records and Teacher Recommendations

Please submit comprehensive academic records* from the past two years as well as two current teacher recommendations. Please download the forms below, sign and submit them to your student’s current school.

Their school will send the records directly to MMA via email to admissions@militaryschool.com, or fax them to 540-459-5421.
*Please Note: Additional documentation may be requested when considering your application for approval.

STEP 3: Review and Approval of Application

Our Admissions Team will be in close contact with you throughout the application and enrollment process. We are here to help so please do not hesitate to ask as many questions as you need! Call the Admissions Team at 540-459-2167 Option 1.

Please be aware that incomplete files cannot be submitted to the Enrollment Review Committee for consideration. As application deadlines and registration dates draw near, it is important that you plan for sufficient time to complete the entire process.

The Enrollment Review Committee meets regularly. Once a decision has been made on your file, you will be contacted, informed of the outcome, and directed on how to complete the next steps.

The Enrollment Review Committee consists of the following administrators:
Head of School
Academic Dean
Commandant of Cadet Corps
Head Nurse
School Counselor

Massanutten Military Academy is a co-educational, non-profit military boarding and day school in Virginia for students in 8th-12th grades with postgraduate studies. We welcome all faiths and live by our motto: Non Nobis Solum (Not For Ourselves Alone).
