  • A Day in the Life of a MMA Cadet

Our structured daily schedule at Massanutten Military Academy ensures cadets develop discipline, responsibility and leadership. Each day at our military boarding school is carefully designed to promote focus, teamwork and perseverance. We also operate on a block schedule of Purple/Gold days. This gives our cadets more face-to-face time with their teachers, time to remain more focused on subjects and opportunities for more creativity within those lessons.

  • Weekend Schedule

While weekdays for Massanutten cadets include a disciplined academic routine, weekends offer more flexibility while still following military structure. Cadets wake up at 0900, clean their barracks and eat Brunch as a Corps. Then their days open up with opportunities for recreational activities, community service or special events, depending on the school's calendar. We regroup for Mess II at 1650, after which cadets enjoy more free time before preparing for the next day starting at 2130.
You know your child can do more but is not getting the attention needed in their current environment to reach their full potential. We know that choosing the right school for your child can be difficult because each child is so unique. We believe students should experience school as it should be, a place where children are educated in an environment that leads them to thrive and encourages their maximum potential.
