Saluting our Service Members during the Baltimore City Veterans Day Parade
Baltimore, MD (Massanutten Military Academy) - As the U.S. prepares to pause and honor our service members, cadets at Massanutten Military Academy are preparing for a special salute.
Members of our Corps of Cadets will march in the 2024 Baltimore City Veterans Day Parade in tribute to our veterans’ dedication, sacrifice and commitment to preserving freedom. They’ll join representatives from more than 60 units including veterans, marching bands, Honor Guards and more for the one-mile march on Saturday, November 9th.
The parade begins at the Washington Monument on North Charles Street and ends at War Memorial Plaza. There will also be wreath-laying ceremonies at both locations. This year’s Grand Marshal is Colonel Louis Waters, Jr., of the Maryland Army National Guard.
