Exploring Options After MMA

Woodstock, VA - From College Board Test Prep to Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment, Massanutten Military Academy shapes our curriculum around setting our cadets up for success at any school where they choose to continue their education. This week, our juniors and seniors took another step toward that future during two different college visits.

Representatives from Longwood University and Virginia Commonwealth University stopped by to speak with our upperclassmen about what they offer on campus, as well as answer any of their questions. From class sizes to acceptance rates and specialty majors, the cadets got a preview into what life would be like on the different campuses.

MMA's Class of 2024 earned more than $3.1 million dollars in college scholarships with acceptance to 70 schools. On average, cadets earn $159,000 in scholarships. We also have Guaranteed Admissions Agreements with 10 colleges and universities, as well as individualized academic roadmaps to help cadets keep in touch with their goals. All of our cadets and their parents are also encouraged to meet with the college advisor while selecting courses, because it's never too early to start planning for that next step in education.

If you'd like to discuss how MMA can help your teen reach new heights, contact our Admissions Office at 540-459-2167 Option 1 or visit their webpage. MMA is still accepting new students for the 2024-2025 school year!
