Cadets Help Save Lives with On-Campus Blood Drive
Woodstock, VA (Massanutten Military Academy) - Non Nobis Solum (Not For Ourselves Alone). It's more than a motto for Massanutten Military Academy. It's a vision and a purpose we bring to life every day.
Our cadets had that purpose front and center on Tuesday, February 25th. They volunteered to support the American Red Cross with an on-campus blood drive. All together, we had 18 cadets sign up to help and 13 signed up to donate.
Their work started with a volunteer session, where a member of the American Red Cross came to campus and shared what to expect and how they would be helping. Then they worked in shifts throughout the day, helping people register for their donations and taking care of them afterward.
We want to thank each member of the community who came together to make this life-saving effort a reality. Together, we helped change hundreds of lives.
