Honoring the Lives Lost on 9/11/2001

September 11, 2001. It's a date that no one will forget as we watched the world forever change. For some of our cadets, those moments that still seem so fresh can seem like ancient history. So today, life on MMA's campus paused as we paid tribute to each of the 2,977 lives lost and the thousands more injured in the attacks.

Ms. Siler and Mr. Vallejo from our history department helped organize a thoughtful and impactful ceremony. Our cadets shared the timeline of devastation from that morning, with Ms. Siler lighting a candle to mark the moment each one of the four planes crashed, and the tragic losses in the aftermath. Our staff shared letters written 10 years after the attacks, documenting that day and the aftermath. The morning of remembrance ended on Company Street, where we shared a moment of silence and a prayer.

You know your child can do more but is not getting the attention needed in their current environment to reach their full potential. We know that choosing the right school for your child can be difficult because each child is so unique. We believe students should experience school as it should be, a place where children are educated in an environment that leads them to thrive and encourages their maximum potential.
