Massanutten's Swim Team Dives Back Into Action
Fredericksburg, VA (Massanutten Military Academy) - Massanutten's Swim Team is diving back into action! Our newly re-formed team hit the road for their first competition of the season on December 7, 2024. Cadets made a splash at Fredericksburg Christian School while competing in each of their practiced strokes.
Offering swimming as a winter sport once again wouldn't be possible without the support of our community. Together, we completed Phase One of our fundraising for Harrison Pool, allowing us to bring it back to full operations. This will also keep it sustainable for years to come.
MMA cadets have a long history of success in the water. The Academy first swam competitively in 1932, became national interscholastic champions in 1936 and earned the title of Virginia State Champions for 10 straight years.
Our swim team is back in action once again on Saturday, December 14th, when they will travel to Fork Union Military Academy for a meet.
