Summer STAR Program encourages cadets in grades 6 - 12 to Strive, Thrive, Achieve and Reinforce lessons and skills in academics, athletics and leadership. We're also proud to offer
more camps than ever before, giving your family the choice of the best program for your child.
It all kicks off with our sports programs from June 15 - 22. We are offering co-ed basketball, soccer and rifle, along with football for boys. These programs focus on conditioning, skill work and development to ensure students stay active while learning perseverance, discipline and teamwork. Check our
Summer STAR webpage for more insight into what each day would look like for your teenager. Sports camps are available for borders or day students in grades 8 - 12.
We're also inviting all campers back from June 22 - July 26 for our Summer School and JROTC Leadership program. These 5-week programs are times for students to strive where they need to grow, and thrive in both their classes and leadership. For academics, cadets in 8 - 12 can choose to repeat two academic courses, or take one alongside a Study Skills or SAT Prep Course. Participants in our JROTC Leadership program must be high school students and will earn one high school credit, which will transfer to their existing transcripts. Hands-on program activities include small boat operations, rappelling and land navigation. These experience are fun, and teach important life skills such as resilience, problem-solving and self-confidence.
Our younger campers are also welcome back for Colonels Camp! These sessions are a blend of educational and recreational opportunities. Each week has a theme, like STEM, outdoor adventures or aerospace, wrapped up with lessons in leadership, citizenship and life skills. Each week, we take 2 field trips that are related to the theme and the cadets will have a swim day. Colonels camp also has flexible attendance options, so you can choose the length that best matches your summer plans:
- 5 weeks: June 22 - July 26
- 4 weeks: June 22 - July 19
- 3 weeks: June 22 - July 12
- 2 weeks: June 22 - July 5 or July 13 - 26
