Lessons in Leadership: Cadet Advisory Council

Woodstock, VA - Between academics, athletics and activities, life as a Massanutten Military Academy cadet stays busy. These three pillars combine to help prepare our students for lives of meaning, purpose, service and leadership. For some of our cadets, that becomes a reality in part through time spent on our Cadet Advisory Council.

This group of cadets met for the first time in the 24-25 school year on September 24th. These individuals represent their class year, bringing any concerns about cadet and campus life directly to school leaders. From privileges for students to activities they want to see offered, these meetings serve as launching points for important conversations.

Time spent on the Council helps our cadets further develop traits all Massanutten graduates share: excellence in communication, innovation and leadership, as well as knowing how to create a true sense of belonging. If you'd like to discuss an individualized roadmap to see your teenager reach new heights, contact our Admissions Office at 540-459-2167 Option 1 or visit their webpage. MMA is still accepting new students for the 2024-2025 school year!
